Crank-In Planning Manual

Not all events are large or complex. So, we expect you will review these guides, select the tasks that apply to your event, and and use the guide as a starting point to plan your crank-in.  For more help planning a crank-in, email

Regional Crank-In Planning Guide – Contains what we’ve learned planning conferences and crank-ins, what we wish we had known when we started out, detailed job descriptions for committees, discussion of decisions to be made, checklists, and sample forms.

Small Crank-In Planning Guide – For one or two day informal events, usually without instructors or vendors. This is the slimmed down version of our full Regional Crank-In Planning Guide.

Crank-In Forms Appendix – The forms appendix contains a variety of sample forms for both large and small crank-ins.
