Favorite item to make: Socks! Though to be fair I was a sock knitter before the machine arrived.
Favorite yarn: This is a hard question. I think the safest answer is the yarn made with wool.
Can you knit with sticks? Yes
How did you learn about CSMs?
I stumbled across a CSM group on Ravelry and fell in.
How did you learn to crank?
One hour sit down with Beverly on the day I picked up the machine.
What do you like most?
Being able to feasibly make socks for more than my husband, myself, and lucky friends and family that get the ones that come out an unplanned size.
Ribber preference: Half
Been to a crank-in? No
Cranking advice:
Ravel cord. It has saved me hours of insanity. Just a quick pull and my projects are separated from the bonnet or spacer yarn.
Pet peeves or turn-ons?
While I like long walks on the beach, I don’t think my machine would be up to the task. 🙂
What else should we know about you?
When not cranking I can be found knitting, stitching, playing ukulele, cooking, or hula hooping.
