How did you learn about CSMs? I first heard about CSM in Indiana at a Fiber Festival. Googled CSM when I moved to Missouri; found Erlbacher CSM; contacted Jamie Mayfield; and bought the speedster.
How did you learn to use a CSM? Watched a lot of videos. There was a small group near me and we would get together and knit.
Ribber preference: Half
What do you like most about this pastime? Much faster knitting than hand knitting.
Favorite item to make? Socks, Slippers
What is your favorite sock yarn? I like most yarns, at this time not one yarn.
Advice? Test your yarn for the tension, keep notes to refer back to. I knitted on a flat machine – similar but different.
Do you know how to knit with sticks? Yes
Have you attended a local or regional crank-in? No
Pet peeves/Turn ons? Dropping stitches on the ribber. Can finish my project in a very short time.

I’m still a newbie. I would like to learn all the different projects that can be made with the CSM. I also quilt and sew when not cranking.
